to connect a new e-commerce customer
A customer go-live drags on for weeks because of EDI specifications, back-and-forth with WMS vendors, manual testing. Customers lose patience, and sometimes walk away.
Every new CMS, every new ERP is a quote, a project, a dependency. Integration costs eat into your margin on new contracts, especially on mid-market e-commerce accounts.
Shopify, Magento, Amazon and SAP change their APIs without warning. Flows break, IT teams firefight. Maintenance consumes the time that should go into building the 3PL's own platform.
BigBlue, Hive, Everstox, Huboo, ShipBob, ShipMonk, Stord sell a standard digital experience to e-commerce brands. A traditional 3PL that can't promise fast onboarding loses before the demo even starts.
An open, documented REST API. The 3PL's customers who have a tech team can integrate on their own, without waiting for the 3PL to build a custom connector.
The most widely used CMS platforms and marketplaces are pre-integrated. The 3PL activates the connector for a customer in a few clicks, and order and stock flows feed the WMS automatically.
For customers with a custom ERP or structured EDI flows, Spacefill combines existing connectors with EDI integrations built by its project teams. Up and running in 15 days.
Spacefill doesn't replace the WMS and doesn't impose itself on your customers. The platform sits as an integration layer between your customers' systems and the 3PL's WMS.
Activate a new customer flow with no IT project at the 3PL or on the WMS side.
Visibility on every flow, every customer, every WMS, in a single interface.
Fix a flow without writing a script or pulling in a developer.
API updates on the vendor side are handled by Spacefill.
Produce flow reports per customer with no manual extraction.
The framework large accounts and demanding tenders expect.
Identifying which systems to connect on the customer side and on the 3PL's WMS side. Choosing the modules: API, CMS hub or EDI.
Mapping customer fields to the WMS in the Spacefill interface. Transformation rules, filters, edge cases.
Automated test suite on the customer's real scenarios: order, cancellation, return, stock sync.
Switch to production, monitored by the Spacefill team. API updates are handled on an ongoing basis.
Standard scenario: a 3PL signs a contract with a Shopify brand that also sells on Amazon. Go-live on the WMS side.
Internal IT scoping, writing EDI specifications, back-and-forth with the WMS vendor to open the flows.
Scoping the systems to connect, activating existing connectors. Field mapping configured with no code.
Custom development for each new CMS or marketplace. Manual testing, test data rebuilt by hand.
Automated tests on the customer's real scenarios. No custom development, CMS and marketplace connectors are pre-built.
Live 6 to 12 weeks later. IT team permanently tied up on maintenance.
Live in a few days. Maintenance handled by Spacefill. IT team freed up for the product roadmap.
Prévoté Logistique handled its e-commerce customers' integrations case by case, with a fresh IT project for every new contract. Internal teams spent too much time setting up and maintaining connectors, at the expense of commercial expansion.
Management was looking for an integration platform that could speed up customer onboarding and standardize flows with their WMS, while offering a customer collaboration portal under their own brand.
For simple integrations, the library of existing ERP connectors is often enough. For complex cases, Spacefill teams and their partner handle the custom EDI integration, with a guaranteed start within 15 days.
The 3PL validates the functional scope. Spacefill runs the configuration, the testing and the go-live. No internal development, no dependency on an IT consultancy.
Spacefill 3PL Connect is an integration platform for logistics providers. It connects the systems of the 3PL's customers (e-commerce CMS, marketplaces, ERP, TMS) directly to its WMS, with no custom development. 50+ WMS are natively pre-integrated. Onboarding a new e-commerce customer takes a few days, against several weeks with classic EDI.
Spacefill is pre-integrated with more than 50 WMS, including all the leaders on the French and European market: Reflex (Hardis), Infolog (Generix), Speed, Odatio (Savoye), StockIt (Sinari), Effitrace, Bext, Mecalux, EPG, Akanea. The platform can also be integrated with custom or proprietary WMS.
For a customer on a standard CMS (Shopify, PrestaShop, Magento, WooCommerce) with a WMS already integrated with Spacefill, onboarding takes a few days. For a custom EDI integration with a complex ERP, Spacefill commits to starting the project within 15 days, for a setup roughly 3 times faster than with an IT consultancy.
Spacefill handles connector maintenance and flow error management. API updates on the CMS, marketplace or WMS side are taken care of by Spacefill teams. The 3PL doesn't have to tie up its IT resources on the run phase.
No. Spacefill 3PL Connect is an integration layer that plugs into the 3PL's existing WMS. It doesn't replace any system. It acts as a bridge between the WMS and the systems of the 3PL's customers (CMS, marketplaces, ERP, TMS, carriers).
CMS: Shopify, PrestaShop, Magento, WooCommerce, Odoo. Marketplaces: Amazon, Cdiscount, Mirakl. ERP: SAP S/4HANA, Sage X3, Oracle, Odoo, Axelor. Transport: GedMouv, Akanea, Sendcloud, ITinsell, Teliae, plus 50+ sales channels.
3PL Connect adds no value for 3PLs handling only structured EDI flows between large accounts, with no e-commerce or marketplaces in their customer base. The tool is built for 3PLs whose customer base includes e-commerce or omnichannel brands with a variety of systems to connect.
3PL Connect is an integration platform, not a WMS or a shipper-side OMS. It doesn't handle physical warehouse operations, nor multi-3PL order orchestration on the shipper side (that scope is covered by other Spacefill products). Some highly custom ERP connectors may require a dedicated EDI project rather than a native plug-in.
